PLANNING
1. Your research. You'll start with checking out my work and seeing if my style matches what you're wanting to get. Be sure to read here about what I will or will not tattoo.

2. Email Inquiry. If you like what you see, you'll send your inquiry email to Ire Ink containing detailed information from the list above. (NOTE: emails that lack required info may go unanswered. I also don't answer social media inquiries.)
If you don't answer everything and I do reach back out to you, I will be asking for the same information. Please, please just go ahead and provide the requested information in your initial inquiry email, thank you!

3. Consultation. I'll reach back out with follow up conversation and clarifications to see if I will hopefully be able to take your project on.
If it is a small-medium sized tattoo, or a simple piece, or you are wanting it while traveling through, I will do my best to work with you quickly.
If it is a larger or more intricate piece, this will likely take more time due to mapping out the tattoo site during an in-person consultation, extra designing/drawing, and possibly multiple tattoo sessions.
Once my questions are answered and we are on the same page for the direction of your piece, the consultation is over. You'll then trust me with the creative freedom from this point. If I do have more questions or need further input, I will clarify with you.

4. Quote. At this point, I will be able to give you a price estimate. If the cost is out of your range, let me know in case we can split up the phases, give you time, adjust the design or size to fit your budget, etc.

5. Schedule. After I've gauged my schedule, client load, and your design difficulty, I'll provide a time frame of which you can select an appointment time.

Depending on the project, I may charge a $50 Booking Fee. This will pay for the prep-work and drawing time, and reserve your appointment time. This fee will go toward your final tattoo cost. However, you forfeit this fee if you ghost prior to setting an appointment, no-show an appointment, or cancel within 36 hours of your appointment. If you advise me that you need to reschedule (before 36 hours of your appointment and only up to two times), the deposit fee will still apply to your final tattoo cost.

PRODUCTION
6. Drawing / Changes.
I draw your tattoo design based off the consultation results (reiterating how important it is before the consultation ends to be as clear and thorough as possible with what you have envisioned in your own mind!)​.
Should you require changes after the consultation is over, tell me as soon as possible. Any large changes or too many indecisive changes can incur a Change Fee.
I may choose not show your tattoo design before your appointment. This is protect my time and work, prevent workflow miscommunication, and to ensure proper adjustments are made in person.

7. Appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, I will show you your stencil and how it will flow with your body. (This is usually not a full-blown shaded or colored artwork. So keep in mind that I will be tattooing it differently than the linework stencil and trust it to look similar to my finished work.)
If you do not like the design, it is up to you to say something at this time.
If the changes you are wanting are a quick fix, we will make the adjustments accordingly on the spot before starting your tattoo.
If what you ultimately want is too much to be fixed quickly or too far from what you agreed to in the consultation, then this would be considered a complete design redraw and you will not be tattooed that day. We can use that time instead as another consultation to go over the changes you are after, and reschedule another appointment. (NOTE: a complete redesign based off your new criteria may require a Restart Fee.)

8. Tattooing. This is far from the first steps of the entire process, but definitely the most looked-forward-to and rewarding! Let's get started on your piece so we can reach this point!
